Doha, June 24 (QNA) – Qatari men’s team won the title of the 4th round of FIBA 3×3 U23 Nations League – Asia-West, being hosted by the Qatar Basketball Federation until June 26, with the participation of four teams. The women’s title was won by Jordan’s team.
The Qatari national team won first place in the fourth round after winning all its three matches. It defeated its Saudi counterpart with 21-17 in the first round, beat Turkmenistan national team with 14-13 in the second round, and defeated the national team of Jordan with 22-10 in the third round.
As for the women’s competitions, Jordan national team continued its supremacy in the Asian rounds to achieve the title of the fourth round, after winning all its three matches. It defeated Turkmenistan with 20-9 in the first round, and beat its Saudi counterpart with 21-3 in the second round, and finally overcame the obstacle of the Qatar national team, with a score of 21-3 in the third round.
