Doha, June 15 (QNA) – HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani crowned on Thursday Al Sadd team champions of HH the Amir Basketball Cup after defeating Al Ahli team in the final game held at Al-Gharafa Sports Hall.
HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani awarded the championship trophy and gold medals to Al Sadd team while HE Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al-Thani, the former president of Qatar Basketball Federation handed over the silver medals to Al Ahli team in a festive scene.
The final was also attended by the HE first vice president of Qatar Olympic Committee, Mohammed bin Yousef Almana, the president of Qatar Basketball Federation, Mohammed Saad Al Mughaiseeb and a number of QOC and QBF senior officials. (QNA)
