China’s northeast inundated in Doksuri’s wake

Typhoon Doksuri has caused widespread floods to farms and cities in northeast China causing much damage. Over 15,000 people had to be evacuated from Shulan in corn-growing Jilin province where bridges collapsed and roads were damaged. The rains broke the previous record with some areas hit by 489mm of rain leading to waterlogged streets around factories and homes.
