Doha, October 25 (QNA) – Arab and international media highlighted the contents of the inclusive speech of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday during the inauguration of the third ordinary session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the Shura Council’s 52nd annual session and focused on His Highness’ affirmation that Israel should not be given an unconditional greenlight and free license to kill, nor it is tenable to continue ignoring the reality of occupation, siege and settlement.
Reuters news agency published a lengthy report reviewing the most important aspects included in His Highness’ speech, quoting what His Highness said that Israel should not be given an unconditional greenlight and free license to kill, while His Highness described the situation as dangerous escalation that threatens the security of the world.

Would it bring security and stability to Israelis and Palestinians? Where would the Palestinians head for afterwards? The Palestinian people are here to stay, despite the lingering suffering under occupation, siege, land confiscation and settlement.” His Highness indicated that Wars offer no solution of any kind. What lies ahead of this will be further exacerbation of suffering, an increase in the number of victims, and a deep sense of grievance that breeds wrath. Petra news agency also highlighted the assertions of His Highness about the Palestinian people living under difficult circumstances that are beyond imagination, and that remaining silent about the unprecedented barbaric bombing of civilians, including women and children in the Gaza Strip is unacceptable, especially since the strip is one of the most densely populated areas in the world.
Jordan News Agency – Petra also reflected where His Highness called the world to not act as if the lives of Palestinian children do not count, as if they have no faces or names, as well as his assertion that what is happening is extremely dangerous, considering it a disregard to all religious and international values, customs, and laws.
Algeria Press Service echoed the statement of HH the Amir that war will not bring about a solution, and that it will instead exacerbate suffering, victimhood, and a deep sense of injustice.
The Libyan News Agency highlighted the call of HH the Amir for a serious regional and international stance in the face of this peril escalation that threatens the security of the region and the world as a whole.
Lebanon’s National News Agency cited HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani as saying that the only way to guarantee security and stability for the two peoples is by implementing what has been avoided so far, and that is achieving a just and lasting peace by granting the Palestinian peoples their legitimate rights as recognized by the international community, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

US CNN network focused on the parts of the speech of His Highness where he said that this war is trampling on religious and secular values alike, pointing out the assertion of HH the Amir that Israel must not be given an unconditional green light and unrestricted permission to kill, calling for an end to the war and resorting to the two-state solution.
CNN also reported the rejection of His Highness the policy of double standards in dealing with the victims, highlighting how His Highness advocated for peace and adherence to the resolutions of international legitimacy, in addition to HH the Amir describing the unimaginable and difficult conditions that the Palestinian people live under, as well as the refusal of His Highness of the unprecedented barbaric bombardment of civilians in the Gaza Strip, and the rejection of His Highness of calls to displace the population of the Gaza Strip.
A BBC Arabic TV report stated that His Highness called for an end to the war in Gaza, which constitutes a global threat, stressing the importance of sparing civilians from the consequences of this military confrontation and that it is not permissible to give Israel unrestricted permission to kill Palestinians.
BBC Arabic also reported His Highness as saying that Qatar is against the attack of innocent civilians on either side, regardless of their nationality.
