Zurich, June 29 (QNA) – The Qatari national football team ranked 58th in the world and sixth in the Arab world and Asia in June’s monthly FIFA world ranking.
The Qatari team, currently participating in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup hosted by the United States and Canada, advanced 3 places with a score of 1393.52 points after it ranked 61st in the world in April’s ranking.
The Qatari team’s best ranking was in August 2021 when it came 42nd in the world after reaching the semi-finals of the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup, when it advanced 16 ranks, marking it the best ranking for the Qatari team since the establishment of the FIFA ranking in 1991. (QNA)
