Phoenix, (United States), June 28 (QNA) – Qatar national football team concluded their preparations to face off Honduras national team at the State Farm Stadium on Friday morning, as part of Group B’s 2nd round of matches in the group stage of the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup hosted by the US and Canada from June 24 – 16 July.
The Qatari team embarked on key trainings on Wednesday at State Farm Stadium and media were allowed for 15 minutes based on Concacaf regulations.
The coaching staff of the national team, led by coach Carlos Queiroz devoted parts of the training session to applying some tactical aspects, focusing on the style of the opposing team and how to deal with counter-attacks, especially since winning the match is the only option for the Qatari team.
Qatar are featuring at the Gold Cup as a guest side for the second time at a special invitation from Concacaf under the cooperation agreement with the Qatar Football Association. (QNA)
